During Rotterdam Architecture Month (RAM), MVRDV and Het Nieuwe Instituut will present a sneak preview of the autumn exhibition MVRDVHNI: The Living Archive of a Studio, exploring the architecture office’s archive. The preview can be seen in the RAM space in the parking garage underneath Kruisplein.
In the Kruisplein parking garage space, which forms the stage for Rotterdam Architecture Month, the sneak preview presents a selection of digital archival materials from projects in which cars play a prominent role. Visitors can explore models, images and drawings, retrieved from the born-digital and digitised items in the archive.
This exhibition serves as preview of MVRDVHNI: The Living Archive of a Studio, on show at Het Nieuwe Instituut in the autumn of 2021, exploring the archive of architecture office MVRDV. Het Nieuwe Instituut displays the MVRDV archive as a living entity in office spaces, rather than in museum galleries. As a working environment, the office is the place where ideas and projects move fluidly back and forth between present, past and future.

The exhibition can be visited free of charge and no appointment is necessary. The entrance is located at the level of the pavilion opposite De Doelen and Ayla.
This event is part of Rotterdam Architecture Month 2021.
